pardon a stupid question, but this isn’t the first time i”ve seen the acronym HBS. what does it mean exactly?
Closest I could find was some crazy site that referred to “Harry Benjamin Syndrome” and tried to claim that calling M2F’s Transgenders was a hate crime or something equally stupid.
Not a stupid question at all! You’ve pretty much found everything that needs to be found.
But HBS refers to an outdated way of seeing transsexuality, where surgery is basically the pinnacle of womanhood, and conformity to rigid gender roles and the like is embraced. There are stragglers around that do like to make the distinction that they are the real transsexual womens, while the “M2F transgenders” are men in dresses, and they’ll pretty much make whatever justifications they feel like to say why they’re better and more right than everyone!
Just not a brand of bigotry you’d want to wander into.

XD wow… the cyber-hater (cyber-cis?) really made my day… gah, i literally almost pissed myself the first time i saw the cyber-demon in the original doom…the cyber-demon in doom 3? ….not so much >.>;
dunno why, it just didnt have the same impact… =/
