I really just found your web comic, and am going through it tonight. It’s starting to disturb me a bit that you are making this older trans woman into a villain. Now I know I have not gone though your entire comic yet, and I hope this story line does not just turn Jennifer into a bad stereotype. The trans community does not need our own people doing this to us. Just realize that those of us who came of age 30 or more years ago had a very different experience. Transitioning when we were young was only possible for those who could pass without a hitch. Even then, it was still dangerous, and even those who did manage to transition, still had problems. Many did not survive. Society was quite different back in the day.
Turning Jennifer into a raging jealous monster, is no better than the typical psycho killer trans people depicted in old movies.
I hope I find out I’m wrong as I continue reading…. I love to see and read about the experiences of the younger generation, and I do think you have done a great job with this comic. Best of luck with it…
My friends named me. Apparently several of them had already been calling me Persephone behind my back before I even came out of denial/the closet/whatever you want to call it.
Envy him having a manager to go through the process with. Many people are quite alone during this process and must leave everything behind, even job references. At least education’s private enough to be retained without worry.
